After obtaining her law degree, Ms. DeKelver completed a clerkship to the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Queen’s Bench, and then completed her articles with a large Alberta firm.
Ms. DeKelver joined the team at Weir Bowen LLP in September 2005, specifically to practice with the medical malpractice group. She has been involved in investigating and assessing as well as litigating a variety of medical malpractice claims since that time.
In addition to medical malpractice work, Ms. DeKelver’s practice includes handling long term disability claims, injury claims for minors, general civil litigation and employment law matters.
In her free time Ms. DeKelver enjoys spending time with her young family, especially camping and cooking.
